Did you reboot the UC server after you changed the smtp domain?

Did you set the dns servers on the UC

Dear all just to let you know that I was helped by George in webex session and 
he found a configuration error in the my CUCM and solved the issue.

I'm trying to understand your problem.  Could you explain what you mean by - 
however it does not show as registered in the CUCM 7.02 interface sh isdn stat. 
 Can you send output and explain what the problem is.  Maybe I can make some 
suggestions.

Try these:
1. Check this check box under SMTP > Server: Allow connections from untrusted 
IP addresses.
2. Have you restart UC server?

Check these and try again.
