Krishna, All, I had a similar experience in my attempts. My attempt in May scored much better than my attempt in June, but in June I was certain that I had done much better than in May. Without breaking NDA, I can say this: there are certainly things which can destroy you score on multiple sections. For example, from my IPExpert / Proctor Labs practice: I learned that if you don't address the dial-peer preferences / hunt order for SRST, you can wind up in a situation where inbound calling from the PSTN fails to certain phones after you test SRST, even if you reboot the router. In real exam, this could potentially lose you points on questions that test gateways, features, dial-plan, codecs, media resources, and so on. Another example – if the lab says to use the VLAN xxx ip interface for call signaling and you use Loopback yyy interface, even though everything works, you can lose points for an entire section or multiple sections. I know it's frustrating – I almost quit after my June score report. I was just as upset that the score report is so vague and that we get no feedback on where we went wrong. Krishna – I'm not trying to talk you into trying again, I'm just sharing that I've felt the exact same way you do. Best of luck to you no matter what you decide to do.

That does not make sense. Cisco does not tell how they grade each section but the proctor will tell you it is part automatic and part manual for voice. I suffered something similar during my last attempt but after much thinking I think I know what happened and maybe the same happened to you. Even though IPexpert recommends using switchport mode trunk on ESW interfaces I still had been using switch mode access because it never failed. I also did this because using switchport mode trunk would show nothing in the show vlan-switch command so I was scared this was how it was being graded and would miss the points. IPexpert recommends this because they say the other way has been known to stop working for no reason. When I got my score report the next day, I could see several sections wrong that I knew I configured right. Doing the math I believe when they went to grade my exam the next day that my CUCME phones were no longer registered. I will use switchport mode trunk for now on. What did you do? That is my only theory. Maybe you have one different that can help others if you choose not to take it again.
