HIGH-THROUGHPUT APPROACHES FOR BIOCHEMICAL AND STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS OF
PROTEIN:PROTEIN PROTEIN:SMALL MOLECULES INTERACTIONS
Job Description: The Center of Systems Biology of the Max-Planck
Institute in Dortmund (Germany) has an active research program in
Chemical biology, Biophysics and structural molecular biology which is
been now expended to a new Systems Biology program. We are seeking a
post-doctoral candidate who in conjunction with other scientists of the
institute would supervise a group of initially two technicians and an
engineer to develop new approaches for expressing proteins and analyzing
their interactions using automated high-throughput protein expression
and analysis. Close collaboration with structural biology and bio-and
chemistry units will be a must.
Qualifications & Experience: Candidates should hold a Ph.D. and be able
to demonstrate excellence in molecular biology, protein expression and
purification. Experience in high-throughput methods, directed evolution,
protein engineering and laboratory automation is preferred and an
interest in structural biology is very welcomed.
