Around here, I would guesstimate the success rate to be in the 5-10% range. Still, I always try it as it's so easy. I don't think longer soak times will usually do much to increase occupancy. Instead, try higher halide concentrations.
I also like to try monovalent cations (Rb, Cs) but haven't had
any success with those yet.
