The especially cool part is that it isn't static logic. The state is stored as 
charge on the gate, which is why
there was a minimum clock speed on the NMOS 6502. As you slow the clock down, 
you can see the bits rot, and finger
capacitance changes the behavior as you touch nodes. The lowest frequency the 
board can run at is a function of how
clean the board is (minimizing resistance to ground on the gates).

There is also a problem of how static sensitive the board with ultimately be.
