Good point, but the OS I was referring to is RISC OS, *the* original
ARM OS and it has only ever run on ARM and nothing else.

Nobody is making PDP-7s any more, are they? :-)

I think the first C-based Unix was 4th edition. Are there any new PDP-11s?

If that makes my point any clearer?
