Not sure which size you want, but have a look at the images on 
http://nmrshiftdb.ice.mpg.de/ (right side). They are generated with renderer2d 
and look ok (for me). I can't really say what happens if you make them even 
smaller, but I could provide you with the code (I can't say what I did without 
looking at it) if you think that looks like what you want.
