No. SMSD is a library developed by Asad, which uses the CDK.

I hope that we will the SMSD code integrated into the CDK library itself later.

The project is not owned by anyone. The library is 'owned', that is
copyrighted by the respective authors.

No, I would not suggest doing that, but ask Asad how his code can be
used in combination with any of the CDK releases from the CDK
