I agree with Bill. Of all the CDs that I distribute, 1 in 50 are
Mac Intel, while 1 in 90 are Linux and 1 in 200 are Mac PPC. I
have never shipped Solaris.
So I would putt Linux and Solaris on one CD, Windows and Mac on
the other.

Hi Alex.
From my past experience with the various Linux distributions OO.o is
included with most, well at least the most popular ones, although not
alway the latest version of OO.o.
So, trying to be cautious here on what I am about to say... don't want
to offend any Linux communities or users. But because most if not all of
the OO.o CD's that I distributed (since OO.o 1.1) were for the folks
that either used Windows or a Mac PPC and now Intel.
So what about Windows and Mac on one CD, Linux and Solaris on
another? That is if Linux and Solaris will fit on one...

Hi all!
I'm in the throes of attempting to create the new install images for OO.o
2.3.1, and have run into a slight problem.
The previous ISOs had Windows, Linux and Mac installers on one CD,
Solaris on
the other. I would prefer to follow the same path for this one, but it
seems
that will not be possible, as to do so will make the Win-Lin-Mac image
about
19 MB too big for a normal CD. So I need to either drop one sub-platform
(either Mac PPC or Linux Debian), place one of the platforms on a
separate
CD, or move one platform to the Solaris CD.
I am reluctant to remove the Mac installer, since there are still many
using
the PPC Macs, and the Debian packages are used by Ubuntu and its
derivatives,
so they nee to stay as well.
Comments are requested (My personal preference ATM is for a separate
Mac CD).
