Quoting Leo Byatt [EMAIL PROTECTED] Hi Team what about starting using DVD's remember a lot of newer computers have DVD's. It is the older ones that do not for them spilt up the Os into windows and mac and the rest if newer should have DVD's.
What are your biggest sellers? And if we want widows users to use open source why not make DVD's with extras like Gimp etc [by the way I use both Linx and widows OS and apps] By the way new pendrives are at least 8GB and Flash are over 4GB and growing. Give people the choice of both DVD's and CD's and see what sells. I remember the days of floppy drives and was a user before cd-roms arrived on the market. That ages me. some will ask for CD's and you will know it is an older machine. Those with DVD's can get the lastest and gratest in apps etc and will be grateful for them. I am on this list because I was planing to sell OOo in NZ pre beta 1. now others can do it beter than me. Then many computers did not have CD-Rom but only had Floppies. I think things have change. Have they not. Have fun making and selling OOo and other open source extras.
