Hi Alan,
The OpenOffice.org project doesn't ship free CDs, but there are a number
of places to get a CD copy of OpenOffice.org, sometimes you will find it
on a magazine cover disk.
However there is a list of Community Distributors on the website, all of
whom will send you a CD for a small fee. Many also include, either on
the same disc or on a separate disc, extras for use with
OpenOffice.org. You can find the list of distributors here:

Some ship globally, but you should also be able to find a distributor in
your local area.
