Bzzzt! Wrong! OpenOffice.org has had, since the later 1.x.x releases, a one-click "Export as PDF" function. It even has an icon on the toolbar for that purpose. Simply compose your document, then use the menu (File-->Export as PDF), give it a name, select the resolution (Web, Screen or Print quality) and click the "Export" button. Alternatively, click the button (next to the Print icon), give it a name and click the "Export" button. > but you may be able to view > some .pdf files with certain components of Open Office. Version 3.0.0 will be the first version of OpenOffice.org to run natively on the Macintosh (without the need for X11), BTW. > it is free.
