Bzzzt! Wrong! OpenOffice.org has had, since the later 1.x.x releases, a
one-click "Export as PDF" function. It even has an icon on the toolbar for
that purpose. Simply compose your document, then use the menu (File-->Export
as PDF), give it a name, select the resolution (Web, Screen or Print quality)
and click the "Export" button. Alternatively, click the button (next to the
Print icon), give it a name and click the "Export" button.

As of version 3.0.0 (due in September, hopefully), there will also be a
facility to import PDF as well.

Version 3.0.0 will be the first version of OpenOffice.org to run natively on
the Macintosh (without the need for X11), BTW.

Not necessary. See above.
