Hallo,
i have problems erasing/rewriting CD-RWs with a Plextor W1210A using
cdrecord (tested with 1.9, 1.10a4 (the last version i could get a
rpm for :) and 1.10a10) under Linux (Kernel 2.2.17, Redhat 6.2 based)
For an error message see below...

CDRs work just fine as does a brand new CD-RW (tested 3 different
brands - same results).
After burning the "virgin" CD-RW once i can't seem to erase it with
the cdrecord/Plextor combo again while it works fine with
cdrecord and a Sony CRX 140 in a different box.

Flashing the firmware from 1.05 to the newest (1.07) available from
the Plextor website didn't help.
