Hm, well I tried speed values 1,2,4 and even 0 whatever that may be :)
and until now FOUR different brands of CD-RW media (each brand
with 3+ different disks) and as i wrote those CD-RWs work just fine
in my Sony CRX 140...
Any tips besides
a, install the drive in another computer and test it there
(that is the next thing i will do as soon as time permits)
b, return it cause it's broken which i will do after I went
through step a,
