You did use a deprecated/uintentional dev= parameter. There have been several reports in the net that cdrecord dev=/dev/sr1 does not work while the dev=b,t,l syntax works fine. This is related to bugs in the sr highlevel driver that is completely unneeded for CD/DVD writing. BTW: using -vvv is not recommended (even for bug reports). Use cdrecord -v and in case there are questions run additional commands, e.g.: cdrecord -atip cdrecord -minfo Jörg -- EMail:[EMAIL PROTECTED] (home) Jörg Schilling D-13353 Berlin [EMAIL PROTECTED] (uni) [EMAIL PROTECTED] (work) Blog: http://schily.blogspot.com/ URL: http://cdrecord.berlios.de/old/private/ ftp://ftp.berlios.de/pub/schily -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
