I had a similar problem: http://lists.ceph.com/pipermail/ceph-users-ceph.com/2018-September/029698.html
But even the recent 2.6.x releases were not working well for me (many many segfaults). I am on the master-branch (2.7.x) and that works well with less crashs. Cluster is 13.2.1/.2 with nfs-ganesha as standalone VM. Kevin Am Di., 9.
