Might be a stuffy way of saying "resume" in the US, but in Europe "resume"
is a poncy French word, where as CV is derived from classic Latin. CV is
pretty much all that is used in the UK but we forgive those that use
resume :-P

Curricula Vitae (sp?). The term and abbrev. is used quite a bit in the US,
but more with professionals and academicians. Just a stuffy way of saying
"resume". :)
