hey judith, i am with you! i think my fav store(s) are the hardware store
and the auto parts....mmmmmmm....auto parts....
as a single mom i try to spend alot of time teaching my boys how to build
things, work on the cars etc, as well as how to do their own laundry, wash
dishes etc....i am trying to teach them all the skills they will need when
they are on their own and not fall back on that old "that is women's work"
or "that is man's work"...it's all human work, to know how to run every part
of your household....
my boys have actually been doing their own laundry since they each were
about 8 yrs. old, since i work so much, i have 2 rules concerning this,
everyone does their own laundry and everyone makes their own lunches......
