My wife doesn't take me to those anymore. I don't force her to go to the
computer stores and she goes to the crafts, dresses, cake shops, fabric,
etc.
However a good bit of advice for a newly wed the answer to your wife is
always...

Get that down and remember her cooking is AWESOME. Like you have never
tasted better...
Think about it they are worried that you will not like them, their cooking,
their clothes, their morning breath.
So even though to us the fact we decided to marry them and work for them is
enough we think but they are worried anyway so you need to go out of the
way.
Ex: Send her roses when there is NO reason to but do it where she will be
at work or at her relatives. why she wants everyone else to know how much
you love her.

She is Awesome and we have been married 15 years this June 14th, 2001.
The longer we have been married the more we have grown together. I the
computer nut she the workaholic. She keeps the house spotless and I tell
her to take a break. She now is into Cake Decorating for fun and profit.
We don't need the extra money but it is fun for her. The picture above is

When you first get married you will have your fights but always in the back
of your mind remember to say your sorry, and that your not leaving her so
