No, but the support mechanism on CommerceBlocks.com (a forerunner of the
SupportBlocks module) not only provides a Troubleshooting Wizard for
resolving many issues automatically through a question-answer series, but
also issues trouble tickets. Because SupportBlocks records the point during
the Troubleshooting Wizard where the user issued the trouble ticket, we can
perform statistical analyses on these trouble tickets from time to time to
determine which problems can be distilled into a knowledgebase article,
simple answer, or FAQ and incorporated into the Troubleshooting Wizard so
future users can ge their answers immediately online, rather than issue
another trouble ticket.
Even when people send emails directly to me regarding a support issue they
are asked to route them through the online help system. If we didn't, there
would be very expensive chaos...
....and less time for Dances with Snoopy! :)
