After the first real sunny weekend this year I have to say yes, our local
park was packed with people having a beer and barbies and just taking time
out to talk to friends and have a very cool day :) (still it started raining
this morning again) *grin*

Yes....I'm a "lurker"...
But the weather thread hit a note (or should I say "thunder clap")?
I am always influenced (and fascinated) by the weather. I once walked out
into a full-tilt hurricane with my video camera, only to have sensible
people scream at me to go back into the house (the camera fogged up anyway
due to the humidity). I was living in the Marshall Islands, with coconuts
flying horizontally around me and palm trees being uprooted...but had this
"need" to capture it. My family and friends were ready to send me to the
loony bin.
Now that I'm in Florida...I still gotta go outside and wonder at the beauty
of a good 'ole thunder storm.
