What did you have to do, change the registered IP address for the name
server itself in the root servers?  I had to do that a while back and it
took Register.com 3 days just to make the changes and then it took another
36 hours for the changes to take effect .. but that is an unusual situation.
People don't renumber DNS servers very often.

I've never known a simple DNS update to take more than 24 hours to propogate
to 85% of all the other DNS servers.  I've been able to recieve mail from
the cf-talk list ever since you brought it back up the first time and my DNS
servers just have 'standard' update schedules.  Odd.  I wonder why everyone
else is having so much trouble ..
