I don't know if this is of concern to anyone here but me, but apparently NY is suing the makers of Paxil over inaccurate information provided to doctors.

I have a kid who was taking SSRI's last year -- not Paxil though -- and it would be really nice to have some accurate and objective information. I allowed him to quit taking the stuff against medical advice because it seemed to me that he is old enough to have some say at 13.

To me, it seems that all of the information is contradictory. I know this is a whine really -- twenty years ago they would be telling me that there was nothing to be done -- so a few maybes aren't that huge a price. But I don't think it is asking a lot to want ALL the information?? Maybe there needs to be a clearing house, as the manufacturer has obvious reasons to omit worrisome information.
