blah blah blah...

I find it very difficult to place much faith (much less important
selection of moral viewpoints) in a book which claims that rain water
is stored in large tanks above a metal scaffolding which holds the sun
and stars in rotation above a stationary earth. I'm pretty certain
that someone from this planet has landed on the moon, among other
things, which belies the possibility of the christian Bible
("authoritative text" on what?!) being very well grounded in reality.

Therefore my opinions of or about the unknowable cosmos (deity) are
grounded in human judgement (not narrative) and to some extent
intuition and I believe that moral decisions should be based on the
much more solid evidence of our own experience. I have to ask -- have
you as an individual ever experienced a homosexual couple as being
evil, and if you have, could you keep a straight face while
definatively claiming that the evil was a direct result of their
homosexual inclination? Have you personally experienced evil as a
result of consenting homosexuals experiencing consenting homosexual
experiences? :)

Aha! I thought so! :)

(Let me also qualify by saying that observing said consenting
experiences does not qualify as evil. Offensive to certain individauls
certainly, but not evil.)
