The chances are very slim of things going this far, and I think the chances of the 
Senate going Democrat are virtually nil at this point. Tom Daschle might not even win 
re-election, which would be a huge shocker because he's a pretty conservative guy as 
these things go. 

I would love to see the race decided by the House, though. I can just see Michael 
Moore's beet-red face on TV  denouncing the Constitution for enabling a 
Republican-controlled House to give Bush another four years "without winning a 
legitimate election" in Moore's mind.

Apart from the entertainment value in seeing several high-profile whiners on camera (a 
la Team America), I think it would be hugely educational for Americans to see how our 
system of government functions, that even an electoral tie has a Constitutionally 
valid resolution. 

Imagine if there is a tie and one of the electors defects and votes for Bush, or for 
Kerry, thereby giving one of them the Presidency? That would be cool, too, although it 
would feed another four years of one side or the other whining about an illegitimate 
president. If that happens I might have to get rid of my TV!
