We're definitely being forced to Java at MetLife (I work in the Boston
office, New England Financial).

Many of the older financial companies still carry along aging IBM mainframes
- and IBM is going heavily into Java.

Well, most of the programmers working in the financial and medical
industries here in Boston that I know are doing Java day and night. Many are
not from around here.

Of course, I know a few that still use SNOBALL.
