The absolute best RPG is Knights of the Old Republic. I typically despise the non-classic Star Wars games, but this one was great. You can pick it up AND the sequel in a few weeks.
SSX3 was a great snow boarding game, and a heck of a lot of fun. I'm playing Mortal Kombat: Deception now, and it is a great fighter.
