<quote> Alcohol is legal and people still drive drunk and still get off on DUI charges. That's the standard I put any other substances against. </quote>
That's my concern as well. I really don't mind what a person does to his or her self. But, when they get behind the wheel of a car, or engage in other dangerous behavior, they are not just risking themselves any more are they. And much of our current policy, as enacted in real cases, is way too lenient in my mind. It just really frustrates me when you hear case after case of the DUI perpetrator who kills people in an accident. And that they are repeat offenders who have been caught several times, maybe even have their license revoked. I mean, if drinking lowers ones judgment so that they will attempt to operate a vehicle while intoxicated, will not having a license really matter that much to them. -------------- Ian Skinner Web Programmer BloodSource www.BloodSource.org Sacramento, CA "C code.
