trouble is this. we, the non-combat civilians HAVE NO IDEA.
NONE. whatsoever. i can only imagine that, no matter how much training i may have of whats right/wrong, i would certainly be prone to a decision much like that if just seconds earlier the guy is trying to kill me. it was all fair then... bring it son, its all fair now. its war. REAL WAR.
