I disagree. You have to check out Britney pre-MTV. Before the
tabloids, the Hollywood lifestyle, and the 1 million effects machines to
hide her poor voice. You could just tell she was going to be a star.

I remember watching Much Music Channel debuting Brittney's first main
stream single, Hit Me Baby One More Time. I had never heard of B.
Spears, but from the title I expected another Susanne Vega's Luka type
song. Boy was I wrong. The music sounds dated now, but I thought it
was great for an unknown pop song back then. I called a couple of my
friends and told them to turn the tv on and check out Brittney.

Apparently a lot of people felt that way and in a month she hit MTv and
she hit it hard.

Her current work really disappoints. I did like the the track, "I'm A
Slave For You." But that was because the Neptunes masterful production
skills. Super Producers up; beat stealing hacks down.

I strongly believe if Brittney decided to take off her top for her
movie, Crossroads, it would have been the highest grossing film ever.
Of course, I haven't seen it and don't plan on seeing it. I don't think
a brief glimpse at her breasts would change my mind either.
