Yep. It actually appears to be much more forgiving of slower hardware
than, say, Doom3. I know people running it on GeForce 3 cards. With
that CPU, the high end cards won't be able to fully flex their muscle,
but what you can get is DX9 visuals instead of 8 or even 7.

If you are planning on buying a video card right this very second, I
would suggest an ATI x800 Pro or nvidia 6800 to go with that system.
The 6800GT is better, but you probably won't be able to use all the
card's power anyway. If you can wait a month or two, then a 6600GT is
the best price/performance choice. The ATI x700 series would be a good
choice except they appear to be PCIe only and not AGP.
