There's all kinds of Schiavo stuff in there. It sort of made me think that we'll never solve this one due to 2 controversy:
1.) Do individuals have the right to choose to die? 2.) If they don't make their wishes known who decides? You can't legislate either of these things because there's gotchas either way: 1.a) If we don't have the right to choose to die then it may be cruel and unusual punishment. If we allow it then the person may make a bad decision. 2.a) If we allow the family to decide then they may take advantage or make the wrong decision. If we force legislation to do it then we are depriving someone the right of self determination. No right answers. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Find out how CFTicket can increase your company's customer support efficiency by 100% http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=49 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:152645 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
