I think everybody mostly agrees that the FCC is a joke, but I was struck by something last night (again). As I was flipping channels (no cable) I saw all kinds of violence:
1.) A Crossing Jordan commercial that had a woman holding a gun to another women's head, 2.) Some commercial for a program that featured a serial killer who wore a black leather mask and sliced up his victims (there was a big bloody mess), and 3.) 24 which featured 6 men being shot to death; one of whom was machine gunned by a women after he'd chased her through a house shooting at her then tried to ram her car. In that same scene the terrorist also shot an innocent bystander in his robe. It just seems crazy to me that nobody finds this a violation of their family time, but you flash a boob and people get out the pitch forks and torches. You can maim, torture, and kill someone but you can't kiss, caress, and touch them. Is this some type of bizarre prudish moral gone crazy? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Find out how CFTicket can increase your company's customer support efficiency by 100% http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=49 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:155392 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
