As a contrarian I'll toss in that the best fish-n-chips can be had
from just about any Spud's in Seattle.

Beer, of any sort, is always best cold.   The "right" temperature for
beer and wine is usually said to be 50^, but I'll take it colder if
it's warm out and if it's white wine I like it downright icy. 
Especially for a hot day by the Ocean, lake, or river.

Also I've rediscovered St. Pauli Girl lately.  Not english but:

Kiss French,
Eat Italian,
Drive German.

and drink German too.  If it's beer.  Or apfelkorn.
