I would expect that to be correct because FAQ is singular...
"frequently-asked questions" is a plural noun with an adjective and
adverb. However, once you abbreviate it FAQ to describe the _document_
(not the individual questions) then it becomes a separate, singular
noun and then is pluralized itself. You have muliple questions in a
single FAQ document. So "I wrote two FAQ's" (not sure if the
apostrophe is needed) would be equivalent of "I wrote two documents".
"I wrote two FAQ" is incorrect because "I wrote two document" is
incorrect.
