I know many people that are members of and lawyers for the ACLU and I can guarantee you that their activity it limited to ensuring that you have the right to speak your mind, pursue happiness, and get the rest of your liberties given to you by the constitution. You comment regarding Christians is fascinating to me mostly because I know many Jews and Muslims and they don't seem to have any particular hatred of the ACLU yet the ACLU seeks the same thing for all religions: for your right to worship as you see fit by enforcing the separation of church and state.
