Well that's where we differ.  You're endorsing trial by media which
means you hear a bunch of rumors and then form an opinion based on
which ones you'd like to believe.

That seems irresponsible to me and one of the reasons why the truth is
becoming more who's side you listen to rather than what's actually
happened.  Rumors are becoming more important than fact and many
people seem not to know the difference.

Prime example: Iraq has WMD and was responsible for 9/11 - not true
but 80% of people thought so and supported war because they jumped to
a conclusion rather than wait for facts.

It's Winston's "new reality" from 1984 - people don't base  opinions
on facts, they base them on the media.
