Depending on where you want to play the files, you can just change the .vob 
extension to .mpg and it should play in most video programs. You might want 
to strip out the extraneous audio streams and combine the VOBs into one 
file. I'd use DVD Decrypter for this. You can grab it from the 
Descrambling/Ripping tools section of Doom9.net <http://Doom9.net>'s 
download page: http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/software.htm

Just change the options to create 1 file, then select the IFO mode (?) and 
you should be able to pick and choose the chapter and audio streams for your 
target file. Hit OK and have it rip the singular VOB file, then you can 
rename it to a MPG extension and it should play on almost anything.

(I don't have the software on computer I'm using right now, so the 
directions may be slightly off...but it's an excellent program that should 
be rather easy to figure out and use.)
