I enjoyed the first game. I'll probably being skipping the second due to direction the developer has taken with the game. There was no reason to get "dark" with the game. If it would have started out as a "dark" game, it probably wouldn't have been that big a deal to me. However, after seeing how well the first game came together, I think I would end up always comparing the two.
I think the developers have went Hollywood on the game, substituting violence and gore for substance and style. I have always said all movie directors should be required to watch all Hitchcock's film before they are unleashed on a project. Maybe something similar for game developers. Anyway, thanks for the review. I noticed you mentioned God of War. I will probably play it eventhough it is incrediblely violent and gory. But, it started on that path. Before I play anything else, I need to finish X-men Legends and Nox.
