Can I ask the bigger question here? WTF are the cops detaining a child on the subway for eating food when (from what I've heard on this list and in the papers) DC has one of the highest crime rates in America? Aren't there better things to do? I haven't had the time to read the story, but it sounds like there might have been more going on that just a silly French Fry eating kid. No? Yes?
