Then we agree. Sports stadiums have no ROI and the public shouldn't support your hobby. I don't ask you to pay for my car and you shouldn't ask me to pay for your sports obsession. As to schools, these do have an ROI, and are not just a hobby, so apples an oranges there. BTW - what is it with sports fans, anyway? Why is it worth so much to you? I like football, I like tennis, I like extreme sports. I watched almost all of the x-games finals this weekend. But I would pay very little for any of it. To me, unless you're doing it, it's just mindless entertainment. You can make all of the strategy arguments, but how is it more than a exhibition? "look what I can do!" It's fun to watch, you marvel at the talent, at that's it. There's no lasting value. If you play sports, that's different , you learn stuff. Maybe character, life lessons, or just a better technique to apply yourself. It's seems equivlent to pr0n: you watch it, marvel at the talent, get a little thrill maybe, and move on. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Purchase Contribute 3 from House of Fusion, a Macromedia Authorized Affiliate and support the CF community. http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=53 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:168587 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
