I made it a point not to buy any Madden games from this point on after EA pulled that exclusive licensing stunt with the NFL and ESPN, and deep-sixed Sega's superior NFL2Kx series. However, the QB vision cone thing sounds like an interesting idea - a rookie or less-talented QB has less of a "sixth sense" and can't pull off misdirection or cross-field throws as well - so something like this communicates that to the game experience.
However, G, I do hear that this year has "Coach Emotion" built in, so if the Chiefs tank this season, too, Dick Vermiel's in-game counterpart will start to cry at press conferences, just like in real life! - Jim G wrote: >Anyone pick up Madden 2006 yet???
