Really bad joke that a friend just sent me...

Centuries ago in a small village a horribly disfigured boy with no arms was
raised in a church out of sight of the villagers who would have thought him
to be evil. As he grew to adulthood, each Sunday he would hide in the floor

boards or in the walls and listen to the stories, songs and teachings that
inspired his faith in God. He asked the pastor how he could participate and

profess his love for God. The pastor knew the young man must always stay
out of
sight of the parishioners so he couldn't help in the church, but then he
felt the pain in his arms of ringing the bell each Sunday for church. The
young man saw this and said he could ring the bell. He could find a way to
ring the bell though he had no arms. The pastor reluctantly agreed. On the

first Sunday the boy ran full speed, face first into the bell producing the
clearest and most melodic tones the bell had ever produced. The
parishioners commended the pastor each week as the bell ringing became the
signature throughout the countryside, but the boy's face took more and more
punishment, and he became more grotesque. Then one day the boy running face

first tripped and fell down the clock tower and laid unconscious in the
middle of the church. The people rushed around him. "He is hideous!", "Who
is he?", "How did he get here?" they all asked, then one man stepped forward

and said "I don't know his name, but his face rings a bell."

Two melons fall in love and decide to get married, but knowing that
their parents don't approve of their relationship they decide to run off
and get married. So the boy melon sneaks a ladder to the girl melons
house so that they can sneak out the window. Just as they are beginning
to climb out the window, her father walks in and in a stunned voice
yells, "Wait, you two cantaloupe!"
