As I said, Larry, which you prefer depends on what kind of fish you want to catch. There are fantastic places in Northern Saskatchewan toward Laloche or Laronge that are phenomenal as well... and I'm sure plenty of others that I'm not familiar with. Lots of fly-in or float-in places in both provinces.
I don't necessarily agree that those rates are higher among First Nations... given the things my sister has told me about the northern community she lives and works in. It's about isolation and lack of reasonable access to good schools, good healthcare and good recreation --nothing culture or heritage specific. >Its an old Manitoba and Saskatchewan argument.
