Target is a great store, but they aren't really a competitor to wal-mart, at
least not here, their products in general cater to a different crowd.

I goto wal-mart to get my oil changed, or buy batteries, some times I pick
up some food. Or get an extension cord.

My wife goes to target to buy shoes, some clothes, gifts for friends.

Meijer, target, wal-mart, k-mart, Kroger, and the rest of them serve
different markets. K-Mart is the only one that has had problems because it
had an identity crisis. The rest of them found a market, and have done
fairly well.
