Uhh...I never said anything about government getting involved.

The practices of Walmart are clearly not in the best interests of the
people that work for Walmart. And many times they aren't in the best
interests of the towns etc.

Ethics does not need to come from a government either. What I said was
Capitalism tempered by good Ethics would be oh so much better than
simple random capitalism.

Capitalism, and the Greed of large corporations is what creates the
Devils of which we speak in this Thread.

I said that the States/Towns/Cities whatever should take infront and
legislate protections for their workers, their investments and
themselves via the contracts Walmart signs with them as a way to solve
their issues; within a democracy based on nothing but Capitalism.

You don't seem to realise that the Reality of unchecked capitalism and
unchecked large corporations is misery for consumers and the public.
Haven't you had enough scandals in your country, seen enough laws and
bills try to be forced through by the RIAA, heard enough of the
illegal monopolies that exist and read enough about how the consumer
is harmed- the people are harmed- through them to realise that?

If there were no need for checks and balances on corporation, and
legislation of good practice then why do you have any Corporate Law?
Why are there specific corporate laws to protect the Public? What is
the purpose of Anti-Monopoly laws that exist in the US?

You use yet another illogical and incorrect debating tactic by
equating any other point of view than your own with Dictator or
Fascist. I hate to bring it up but this is a well used tactic of the
present US Administration, replace Dictator with UnPatriotic and
Fascist with Anti-American. It gets old. Ironically this is also a
tactic commonly employed by those seeking to slowly insert a
Dictatorship and those with Fascist ideals.

Your logic is flawed. Rather than make wild assumptions, interject
specious metaphors and engage in ad hominem, look instead at the
idealistic, myopic outlook and support which you profess to the
exclusion of all other ideas; and ignoring the precedents already set
and the conclusions that any reasonable individual can draw from
existing laws and precedents.
