This is a very different point, but I'm not sure what evil you're referring to. We're not saints, but, from a policy perspective, what US policy is born of evil or executed with evil intent? You've mentioned Iraq but it's FAR from clear what the result of that policy will be. * If Iraq devolves into a civil war and pull up camp and leave, then we'll have done more harm than good. * If, on the other hand, Iraq turns into thriving democracy, then we'll have clearly done good. In either case the US didn't invade Iraq to do evil, or with evil intentions.
