Heh, well, something like that. Nobody wanted anybody-but-Bush more than me but, to be fair, Mr. Bush is not evil. He's just dumb. Misguided. Prone to delusions of grandeur. Of course the list could go on. His election is the triumph of the marketing of religion and war over sense. I had a feeling he was going to win when I would speak with life long Union loving Democrats who were voting Bush because "we're at war". Or when I'd talk with smart swing voters who felt like "he'll protect my values". The last election was a referendum on the war and on Christian values.
