No, they were closely in bed with the corporations - the large
corporations such as Zeiss and Krupp were very strong supporters of
the Nazis. The laws protecting workers rights were repealed in 1934
(Hitler had been in power for a year at that point), while special
laws favouring those corporations that supported the nazis were
enacted.
