That's a disingenuous argument because that's public money. The correct answer to Larry's question is that the military is different because they are a public-good publicly funded organization as opposed to private company. In both cases (the military and a college) the public is giving to institutions that serve a public need: defense and education. As such there's a special channel between the 2 that doesn't exist between a private corporation and a college. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:199328 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
